Could Do Better |
|
· The only areas where our score dropped was on availability of doctors, but our score only dropped by a couple of points and is still substantially higher than the national average · More of you wanted us to open for longer at evenings and weekends. The hours we can open are restricted by our contract with the PCT, also by us only having 2 doctors in the practice—there is a limit to the number of patients they can see. There may be national developments in this area and further news is awaited. · One comment related to us not having a disabled toilet, there is a disabled toilet attached to the treatment room—our staff and others in the health centre have been reminded of its existence. |

Our Annual Patient Survey |
|
Our 4th annual patient survey was carried out in September 2007. Over 100 of our patients who were attending the surgery for a consultation with a doctor were asked to complete a 4 page questionnaire. The questionnaire is one that has been approved by a national panel. The aim of conducting the survey is to find out the views of our patients and consider areas where changes could be made to improve the services we offer and the quality of care our patients receive. Overall, this was probably our best patient survey ever. Below are the main findings. Please speak to the Practice Manager if you would like more details—there is also more information on our website. |
THANK YOU TO ALL OUR STAFF FOR THEIR HARD WORK WHICH HAS HELPED US ACHIEVE SUCH GOOD RESULTS.ALSO TO THOSE PATIENTS WHO TOOK PART IN THE SURVEY. |
